Birthday Cake Power Bites


If you’re a sucker for Starbucks cake pops, but would prefer a healthier version that maximizes those macros and nutrition, then you are sure to love these!  They are so dang moist, not dry at all and sticky like your favorite cookie dough.  You know, that cookie dough you can’t stop eating?  But, my version won’t leave you feeling sick to your stomach or like you need a nap afterwards.  These are also protein powder free, using Kodiak Cakes power cakes mix and Greek yogurt to up the protein.  But, I have to say, what makes these truly extraordinary is the addition of Berry Birthday spread and is star of this show.  She adds the perfect cake batter with a touch of strawberry feel.  They are too delish!  Pop one or two on your Creami creations, on top of your yogurt, or eat alone as a fantastic after lunch, pre/post workout treat!   Hope you and your family love them, and when you make these, make sure to comment and/or tag me with your creations on Instagram.  I will be sure to re share!  Enjoy my friend.



To make:

In a food processor or standing mixer combine your dry ingredients first and then add in all the wet ingredients.  Mix well till a dough forms.  Add in your sprinkles and mix again gently.  With a small ice cream scooper (or spoon if you don’t have one) scoop 30 grams of the dough and place in a Tupperware container or any storage container of choice.  Scoop 10 bites.  Chill in the fridge to set for at least 25 minutes.  Store extras in fridge for up to 1 week.

Makes 10 large bites, 30 grams each (total dough weight 300 grams)

Notes* If you are worried about using raw flour, you can heat treat the flour to kill any bacteria before using. Simply place the flour in a microwave safe bowl. Then microwave in 30 second increments and stir in between until the flour reaches 165°F. Let the flour cool before using.
