Protein Banana Bread

10 grams of protein per slice!

 

Do you LOVE banana bread, but not the high carbs, high fat or sugar content?  Then this one’s for you!  This lower carb, low fat, naturally sweetened Protein Banana Bread is sure to satisfy that craving and please a Sunday morning crowd, minus the sugar crash.

Ingredients:

To make:

Combine mashed banana and yogurt.  Add eggs, vanilla and the Iced Oatmeal Cookie Spread.  Mix well.  Add in the oat flour, protein powder, baking soda, sea salt and cinnamon and mix well until incorporated.  Pour into a parchment paper lined bread pan and bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.  Let cool completely.

*Tastes best the next day, chilled in the fridge!  Dense, but moist, and perfectly sweet!

 

Makes one 670 gram loaf.  1/8 slice (83 grams)=
